Short Biographies:

Tom Bartlett is an Architectural designer who has worked on residential and commercial buildings domestically and internationally. Educated at University College London and Manchester University he went on to run his own architectural practise in London.

Cate Bell is involved various charities in the UK; she is a Trustee of the Calne Foundation Trust and responsible for communications for the Calne Girls Association. She is on the Exhibitions Committee of the Salisbury Museum and also a local Parish Councilor. Being a qualified secondary school teacher she has a particular interest in education for all ages of children and young adults.

Arabella Duffield has a PhD in Public Health. She worked extensively in Africa and Asia for ten years for the UN and non-governmental organisations including Save the Children. She completed the Sloan Programme at London Business School in 2008. Arabella is currently a trustee of the Emergency Nutrition Network, the AD Charitable Trust, the Clore Social Leadership Programme, Access for Inspiration and the Weizmann Institute in Israel.

Dominic Slade is Managing Partner of Alchemy Partners, a private equity fund management firm which he joined in 1998. He started his career with UBS in investment banking and holds an MA and MPhil from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Harvard.

John Walker’s 30-year career spans public, private and third-sector organisations in the UK and internationally. He has founded and successfully exited businesses in technology and retail financial services. He has led and advised on several successful mergers. In 2008, John retrained as a business and economics teacher, teaching in a number of inner-London schools. Today, John trains, coaches and consults for mission-driven social enterprises and for-profit businesses looking for growth and impact.
